Melton Olympic run their annual Hardriders trial on Sunday 9th March
Circa 54 miles ...some of it err hard

Basically leave Melton @ 9am
start is Mill Street Car park
Up thru Gt Dalby, Twyford to Tilton left to halstead
right to Launde Abbey up the wall
Knossington
Col D'overton
Whissendene
Wymondham
CAFE Windmill

Then travel north thru to Sproxton- croxton
Harston -Woolsthorpe
Belvoir - Redmile x-roads
Up Terrace (nice)
Branston
Up Lings Hill
Hammer back to Melton thru Waltham

It goes up a hill near Harston which is so steep some people have been known to snap their chains

Yep, and as your location is Loughboro', there is a group leaving the X roads in Cossington (Platts Lane) at 8:10. Should give a round trip of approx. 80 mls. Cool

Winter may have left us for the minute but the roads are still treacherous, so let’s be careful in the morning.
I came down in Summerby this morning, no grip what so ever at the Post Office corner. Bit of road rash to me and the bike but the worst part is the hole, yes a hole! in my new Assos jacket.
