I have an old frame that needs a new paint job, I'm hoping to build it up a budget fixed winter bike.
Does anyone know of any local companies that will shot blast it and repaint it fairly cheaply?

There is a guy on Little Tennis Street in Colwick that some of the Go Sports guys have been using. He's cheap and quick, but I don't have any contact info, sorry.

The location sounds good for me, any chance in finding out the name of the company?

Is it this company by any chance?

If you use a random powder coaters (ie not a bike specialist), just make sure they blank off the threads in bottom bracket and headset properly as it's a ba$**** trying to get the stuff off once it's got into them!

not as far as I know, I know Dave Marsh keeps in touch, best ask him

As above, just had 3 frames done at Belmonts in Old Dalby 3 for £120 not bad quality either, just hard work to get delivery time but pestering them paid off

There is a place in Burton-on-Trent, CJ Ward, on route to Queens Hospital. They did a great powder coat on my mtb, was £20.
