That's the bit that irks me. For years he's protested his innocence, even asking for donations from his loyal, but in the end mis-guided fans. Not exactly likely. If I was 37 years old, had barely managed to finish a race all year, and was about to go up against Contador and Schleck in the Tour I wouldn't let Michele Ferrari out of my sight. The guy has had 7 positive tests plastered on the front of world cycling's newpaper-of-choice and there are still people that think he's clean, so he's not going to be put off by Floyd Landis. |
