I follow the Jan Ullrich school of training in winter, just about ready for a comeback though I think, should I bring along some red cards!?

Julian perhaps you could come along in your professional capacity, some of the riding is bordering on the criminal Laughing .

Can't knock young Rodders sprinting, he's just let down by his leadout man !

I'm hoping to get out tomorrow night if it's not too wet.
Was chatting to Rob this morning though and bearing in mind all the mixed abilities and the fact nobody is in charge, or even really knows each other, we don't do badly, however their are some persistent offenders.............

Had an email tonight from a woman about a group riding wrecklessly running a red light by the Fire Station in Chad and cutting in front of cars.

Told her it wasn't our mob - not sure who does that route now (Leisure Lakes group ?) but she was on about getting the police involved - thought it best to let people know.

Seeing riders stretched out in 1's and 2's along the length of Frank Whittle Way made me realise I'm not missing it at all Smile .

What's happening over your way on Tuesdays now then - with our time trials starting this week our Tuesday chaingang is likely to die its usual death for the Summer. Is it still 6.45 at Leisure Lakes - what's the route - still go all the way out to Repton ??

Well it's been coming for a while now and tonight we had a nasty smack at a junction.
Pierre trying to jump away with an amigo and failing to stop before being broadsided by a car. We didn't see it as we were still some 3/400M behind and tootling. No serious harm done other than smashed car windscreen and damaged bike etc. He is a very lucky rider to have not been seriously hurt. But he'll be very sore tomorrow.

And we only do this for fun....!!
