Cracking news, good to see races where the wind (if any) and twisting roads will affect the result, all the best with these. Smile

I should mention I am not the organiser just spreading the news...
Don't know the Flawborough circuit so can't comment - I think there is a course list on the BC East Mids section - I'll have a look to see if its described.

The Lime Kiln circuit is based on a 3 mile loop near the pub close to Cropwell Bishop so it will be a flat circuit in the Vale. We have agreed with the pub to use their facilities (like the club do on Thursday for our evening 10s ) so hopefully riders will have a drink and something to eat afterwards.

Apart from providing a race series local to Nottingham one of the ideas behind the 6 race series is that we have a lot of young riders coming through and senior riders who want to have a go at road racing. We see this series as a way of encouraging them and hopefully they will really get the racing bug to continue.

Just heard that the race on the 6th April has been moved to 20th April, the BC calendar will soon have the evening race series on there too,
Cheers

can anyone point me in the direction of a map for the Lime Kiln circuit?

Thanks

Just checked - apparently its taking a bit of time to update the BC calender - the events should be on the BC Calender from this Wednesday with online entry available (it should also describe if you can enter on the line)

Also can I just repeat - the event originally scheduled for April 6th as described on the flyer above has moved to April 20th Wink

Would-be EOLs might want to note that the field limit for the Lime Kiln circuit is only 40 (or it was last year, anyway), so entering in advance might be preferable.
