New 2013 Lowdham Chaingang Route

Due to the poor state of the old circuit particularly the Bleasby - Fiskerton road we thought it was time to move on.

This new 25.5 mile out and back route will start on Wednesday 3rd April at 18.30 and will run throughout the summer.

It's flatter, the roads are better, there are no level crossings, only one pedestrian crossing and one set of traffic lights on the way home. As it's now an 'out and back' route, dropped riders will have the chance to rejoin the group on it's return from the far turn.

We will go up and out through East Bridgford village but will return via Margidunum Roundabout and up the bypass so no one takes any risks doing a right handed turns onto Gunthorpe Bridge.

We want riders to think safety at all times and not to take any risks but at the same time to get a decent workout in.

As always it's non club affiliated, free and everyone is welcome.
