Does anyone know any info about Rotterdam Velodrome?
How big is it? Any pictures? What is it like to ride?
on the smaller tracks, do you tend to gear down?
Which wheels would be best to use, Deep section wheels, or a disk wheel and a deep section front? |

If you mean the one used for the upcoming 6-day then it's hard to say as the 6-day hasn't been held there for 16 years. Assuming they're still using the same track then it is a 200m wooden track built by the Schuermann company http://www.velodromes.com/index.htm in 1971
There may be more information on the 6-day website, but my Dutch isn't very good! http://www.zesdaagserotterdam.nl/index.cfm |

Biker, If you don't mind me asking, why are you asking?!
I'm taking 4 GB Junior riders to ride in the Junior event at the Rotterdam 6 in a couple of weeks, are you one of them?
The link Richard supplied has only been up a short while, did loads of searching for info on the track a while back, but very little info out there as not been used for a 6 since Doyle won, quite a few years ago. |

Just wondering about it! I knew it hasn't been used for a long time, and there is soon to be a race, so just curious about the event! |
