Carl Saint came off somewhere near the dog leg corner and had a grazed arm, Ramsbottom went off course and someone said he lost 3 mins, Andy Proffit going well then had a mechanical after he had caught Tony Stott and dropped him for 2 mins. Danny Axford was about 10 mins off the front of the race at the end, a bit strange putting him effectively number 2 as many of the marshals were not ready for him.

Team won by the Arctic - Shorter Rochford RT

Hutch looked like he had lost weight in the winter, quite lean now.

Not sure who won women's prize but am sure someone will post

ps what has Hoppo done to his hair ??

Proffit had put 3 minutes into Stott within the first 35 minutes of the race? You sure?

'tis true. Where was the Stoo today BTW? I had a message for him from Pete Bissell, he'll have to wait until later in the season to receive it now!

Was the left hander going down to Bayford station, he went straight on an came off on his right handside.

Fair enough, that means he was 4th at the time he had the problem, 2 minutes 30 behind Hutchinson and 30 seconds down on Carl Saint, which sounds about right.

Yeah, Stott was 3 and a half minutes down on Saint today after about 36 minutes of the race.

I would guess the Stoo was in bed only a few miles away from all the "action". I can't say i blame him, once he starts a race it's balls out everywhere, when I saw the roads on the way there I could smell a crash coming the Stoos way. Best to keep yourself safe and sound for later in the season so him Richard Bradley and Chas McCulloch can give API a run for their money in the quest for team honours.

I wonder what they do for = 2nd, split the £200 with £100 each and give 3rd £125? Or give them £162:50 each and the solo 3rd gets the money for 4th?

no we gave each of them £200 and no third place. It's only fair. If you come second you win £200 doesn't matter if you've tied.

I'll post results later. Need food now.

it wasnt an assumption.... as with any sport if there is a tie then you both get the higher place & the next placing is redundent....

Yeh i makes sense i suppose, it would be mean to change the prizes on the start sheet, which wouldn't be right
