Couple of time trial observations from conspiracy point of view  That little guy caught by Basso for 3 minutes handed his bottle over (little guys bike now lighter - Basso's heavier), little guy comes back and drops Basso on the descent
Garata Saunier Duval - massive front wheel flange ........ old style hub brake
Apparently Salvodelli fears being left without team mates and service car on that unsurfaced climb tomorrow, so has opted for Michelin World Tour wired on tyres.
