November and December are not very important months and should be a chance to live normally (if your season involves 300-450 miles a week with 60+ races a ...3 weeks completely off the bike followed by age of 6-8hrs up to Xmas.

How many miles are you riding a week at the moment? |
Just the daily ride to/from work (and a daily gym session of core strength work, stretching, and a few weights), and a steady Sunday ride that's a bit faster and a bit longer than the club ride. I guess 250? |
That's got to be atleast 15 hours a week, carefull not to get burn-out. |

We havn't talked about is intensity. All my hours are only at around 200 watts, 17.5mph. 5 weeks of around 18.5 hours a week wouldn't be enough to make anyone fly would it? |

Not very often, they are the wrong length. A few of the people i train with use them and we ride to that. |
