I know I'll get lynched when I get home. Or do you want me to put Nicole on there for you to tick her box?

Anyway, anyone know what happened to the Welsh in the RR?

All Welsh Men's team had DNF written next to their names. Bit of a shame as they were on the front for a while.

Andrew Roche.

Up there in both the TT and RR. Yet he's not some state sponsored superstar or continental pro. Just quietly gets on with being very very good.

Mountain biking is way superior in terms of following and people who actually have a go at it.

I voted for CUmmings as to get 4th in the RR on top of winning the team pursuit is pretty good.
Especially as in the finale he saw the move go and was ready and willing to go with it, simply unable; but he's a big lad isn't he Shocked ?

For me though the man of the hour is Cav; not the absolute best but what potential. Young but savvy, up there in the RR although a trackman. A great future.

Cav is a Manxman, and that's a different country entirely.

I heard Dale & Rob crashed? Bit of controversy in the Western Mail today Re: no support for Nicole, plenty for the men etc. fair enough under the circumstances I suppose.

I agree with you Rhys, but you we haven't done that much in the past four years to get anyone up to that level. I took my sister to be tested at Newport in 2004 by the WCU. I know she is a fit girl (no smirking Rhys) and will have done slightly better than average on the test. Regardless, they said they would be in touch with feedback whatever the result. Didn't hear anything. I phoned quite a few times, and it's not like they didn't know me or her from Adam.

So there we go. It's not like they tried to foster the relevant support and failed, they just didn't bother. In light of Sunday's race, where do you think the money was best spent? Sending the men around the world to get fit enough to DNF or try to build a modest team to help Nicole?

I include myself in the men who were sent everywhere for little or no end result.

I've got some pics from dormgirls.com. Does not look like a bloke at all. Their cousin looks even better.

In all seriousness, PB's sister is a brilliant cross country runner so her general fitness should have been noticable. And before people start harping on about specificity, the session arranged was a part of a scheme to find talent from other sports. Bit of a loss really as she could have used PB's bikes. He ain't bloody using them Rolling Eyes

I couldn't make my mind up whether to vote for Steve Cummings or Paul Manning. However bearing in mind that my missus has mentioned on several occasions that she would like to get into Steve Cummings' pants (and seems to imply she would be amenable to a bit of mutual pleasuring on that basis) I have voted for Paul Manning.
