It always the same, every RVV which ever team Patrick Lefevere (sp) is in charge of their leader gets 'sick' or 'injured' then blows everyone away on the sunday.

I've gotta say Roger is going better than his results my suggest. He's got the legs he just needs to get in the right move.

Boonen is the "groote favorite" I can't see him "allowing" another team mate the win. He's been glass cranking all week - cruising whilst the Eisels of this world are running themselves into the ground.

What price at the bookies for another double?

I take it you're not working at the moment if you've been watching TV all week. Lucky sod Wink

I think Hincapie at last has the goods and self belief to do it. Boonen will have to repeat last years superiority to win, and I think that's unlikely. Every mofo in Belgium will be on his wheel. But if he can get in the winning break then its all over! Pozzato still looks very good as well.

PvP does look good I have to admit. Bit worried about his team though, seem to always be chasing and never have anyone in the break this season so far.

Flecha?

The weather is going to play a very big part this Sunday-It is building up to be a great 'Ronde'.

No mention of Bettini yet, likes the bad weather he does Wink
Dare I say it, but watch Frank Vandenbrouke do a ride in some way-notice he did a good tt today Shocked

This is what they say in Belg, after Boonen the others rated are in a poll by Het Volk.

I think the final selection will contain some of the following riders:

Nico Eeckhout, Alesandro Ballan, Boonen, L Van Bon, Klier, O'Grady, Nuyens, Cancellara, Petegem, Zabel, Leif Hoste.

My money is on Boonen NOT TO WIN - what with the curse of the world champion etc. He's defo got a cold and will focus for P-R and help Nuyens instead??? That way he's got Nuyens and Pozzato to sacrifice everything for him in P-R.

1st Place - LEON VAN BON
2nd Place - PETER VAN PETEGEM
3rd Place - NICK NUYENS

PvP always looks good! Can't see him ditching all the other hitters to win it. He certainly can't outsprint the others (Boonen, Pozzato, Hincapie) anymore.

Just a thought...

Eric Dekker, had some good form recently. I know he does well at the Amstel, whats his record at Flanders?

He must be due a big win soon, classy rider. Reminds me of Rolf Sorensen. (and he won RVV).
