The old tag team is back in action on Sunday... Hodge and Hill will be doing the Coventry Road Club hill climb up Burton Dasset.
Thing is ... who is going to win?
Its 333 yards of steepness up the Burton Dasset Climb.
Will the sheer power of Hill rip it up or will the nambypamby of Hodge suffice and succed... Will Hill's PT record 4 digits in the sheer agony of lift 16 stones up that high? Will Hodge be able to get his power generation into Double digits for the first time ever in 20 years of riding...

You mean, actually break a sweat whilst exercising?
Are you mental?
10+ weeks of nothing but marathon training may put me at a slight disadvantage, the only cycling I do these days is riding my MTB to work and back with the nipper on the back seat (mind you that does give me an indication of the weight penalty you give yourself every day) _________________ "Veloriders - Sounds like a bunch of soccer holigans still watching reruns of Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" |

after hills finished it'll only be 300 yards, they may have to redraw the map to reflect that the roads been dragged a fair bit down the hillside. |

I'll allow a bit of a dry retch - but being sick means you've timed it wrong... _________________ Imagination is the war against reality.... |

mmm the pressure's on (for both of us). I think you lot are SEVERELY underestimating how aggressive and determined La Hill can be, especially as only a few years ago he was the club champion on this ascent...... _________________ "Veloriders - Sounds like a bunch of soccer holigans still watching reruns of Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" |

Rich racing up the hill
and I then ran alongside him to take another one as he powered over the top
and this is Happy Shopper from VR on the left and Rich on the right just in front of me rolling back home (just before Rich took the next village sign sprint)
