East Midlands Region are running a Regional Commisaire trainning course on Saturday 20th January 2007 at Winthorpe Comunity Centre near Newark. 9.30am to about 4.30pm.
Suitable for those interested in becoming an assistant commissaire then regional commissaire or present division commisaires to refresh .
This training is aimed at training assistants and will help anyone who wants to help out in a race convoy.
The course is free to BC members.

Like a lot of Regions there is a shortage of proper comms that are available for events in East Mids as I have been asked a few times to go up there to help out as organisers cannot get the Comms. If people are concerned that once qualified that they may be called upon every week, then one thing to consider is that if you get more to help out, then you help out at less events.
One thing to take into account - you actually get to see more of the racing whilst commissairing than stood at the side of the road!

Steve, can you confirm which date is correct, as on the BC website the course is on the 27 Jan?
