I'm sure if your club promotes you would be entitled to representation - also if you wish to promote you'd be more than welcome as there are a few weeks where no one is available at the mo.

The Mallory RR League seems to be very cloak and dagger. Prizes a bit of a lottery, AGM that nobody knows who can/cannot attend, no published accounts.

Hi Dave sorry to put you on the spot mate, but you seem to be the only person with any knowledge or willing to talk about this meeting.

Can you confirm the date time and exact venue and if possible any agenda
for it . must admit Dave it sounds a bit iffy having a meeting that no one knows about and at the same time asking for organisers for events within the league, Its no wonder there are so many funny rumours flying about.

It's not my position to invite anyone, as I am not the co-ordinator. However, if you care to email me, I can give you details.. oh sod it - next Wednesday, Mallory Park 7.30pm. Go along and offer your help in promoting!

Agenda main points:

1. Observations regarding safety ( i.e. minimum persons required for running each event.)
2. Appointment of new series co-ordinator
3. Appointment of new treasurer
4. Recruitment of new promoting clubs
5. Transfer of racing kit (bell, numbers etc) week to week

On the night prizes? For those of us that through work committments can't make the full series therefore cannot compete for overall prizes?

Sounds a good idea, or have a once a month on the night prizes, with the rest of the season a series.

Regards Mallory,I can confirm meeting date, time, etc,. as stated, but venue is uncertain as series co-ordinator does't know if pub at Mallory is open on that night,so,meet in car park, followed possibly by a nice drive round.
More seriously though,I would like to stress that all you guys who have had issues with the league and have spent the past 3 years bending the ears of Pete Mooney,John Pearson and myself......NOW.......is the time to make yourselves heard.
The three of us have pressed for this meet on your behalves and have suffered much criticism and accusations .
One of the accusations is of having"hidden agendas" this has upset all of us greatly and as a consequence none of us will be attending the meeting.
On a personel note,I am so angry with some of the crap flying about,I do not feel it wise to attend a meeting at which I could quite easily loose my temper at.
So you guys who have moaned and growned, get off your butts and to this meeting.

What is there to be critical of?

They are good races put on by volunteers that attract a healthy crowd. I don't think for one minute there is any money to be made by the organisers due to knowing the price of a motorbike track day there. With the limited amount of races held in the East Mids I don't think anyone should knock them because if these go what will you be left with?

I hope Martin doesn't get mad and kill some one. Wink

The only people that should have issues are the people that have had the lack of support and help to run these events. The moaners should be at the meeting.
The fact that they dont know if the venue will be open or not yet just sums it up.

I have got 34 cheques for prize winners which have not been sent out due, amongst other reasons, to unreadable addresses on signing-on-sheets. I will be trying to sort out the addresses in the next few weeks but if you think that you are due a prize, not got one for Varno, email me with your address to pjw.mooney@btinternet.com. I will make a list of any not claimed and display it at Mallory Park. See you all at the first night.
