I reckon there is (roughly scaled off the contours) about 200m ascent per lap. 200 x 8 = 1600m Very Happy

What - Ilkeston to Bilborough? - where are there any hills?

Also, you can ride it. Steve rode the Div's last year as a junior (from memory, it's only 1st year juniors who can't ride it). So let's see you put your money and legs where your mouth is.

its where i go to do my hilly training rides. there will not be many finish the race, and the photo finish could possibly be replaced with an artist. anyone who thinks lincolnshire is flat will be in for a shock! but what do i care, i'll be doing the nat 25!no flat at all, but you were right about the wind tho'. hope this is a help to you.
