Good to see the 20 or so people at the AGM last night. Pity that's only 2% of those that could have been there.

Would also be nice to have people from the other disciplines on the Regional board as at the moment we only have representatives of road and track.

I calculate it to be nearer 14%

The AGM is open to all BC member, not just club reps. Which means
you need to look at the number of members in the region not the number of reps allowed.

The number of members for the East Mids Region is 1298 therefore there was only 1.54083% of the people there that could have been and as i didn't actually count how many were there the figure is irrelavent. Laughing

What is relevant though is that there should have been more people at the meeting.

I was in Bath, the city, couldn't make it, not that I'm in BC anyway.

Was the replacement track discussed at all?

Yes it was.

Seems that things are on a go slow due to lack of money.
So if anyone knows of a rich benefactor who is interested in cycling please pass their name forward.

I think any benefactor would need to know

1) where is it going
2) how much exactly is needed, ie is the site free of charge, or is it a site purchase plus building costs?

You find the benefactor and we'll give him all the info he needs.

Doesn't work like that in any world I've lived in.
