Worst "arrangement" I've ever seen . Glad punters had no money on it as there would have been uproar!
It was a really nice gesture, even though I felt like packing every lap, and I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to my other gift and who has ever come and raced at Eelmore since I've been organising it. It's been a great laugh, which is what it is all about at our level and indeed, life itself IMHO.
Just had a great curry with a few friends afterwards too. |

Gary's eyes lit up when he entered the curry house and was greeted by a big Gurkha. _________________ "Well done, you are 100% absolutely without a shadow of a doubt spot-bollock-on correct." - Tucker

Gary, I wanted to take a moment to let you know, now that you are shortly leaving, and will be starting a new position at Wallawalla Death Troop Base in Australia next month.
I have enjoyed your tenure here and I appreciate having had the opportunity to work with you at my training camp. Thank you for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided me during my time at VR. Even though I will miss you so much, I hope you are looking forward to this new challenge and to starting a new phase of your career.
I remember in Majorca, when the Mexican’s came into your room and did the conga around your bed, and a huge man dressed as an Aztec God came up to you said, “are you handy” and you thought he was an imposter but was in fact the Bishop of East Anglia, oh how we laughed. We laughed when you took the RAF through the Soller Tunnel
Please keep in touch, I can be reached at my personal email address or at home
Thanks again for everything.
Yours truly,
David

You might want to check Rule No. 1 of the entry criteria to Oz..... _________________ "That's , JC" |

I really enjoy the atmosphere at eelmore - much better than some other series races I've been to. The people there are friendly, the racing is hard but enjoyable (well, for me it is), and there's no arrogant ego tripping like you get at some races.
Alot of the above is down to Gary who ensures each week we have decent & fair racing, plus a bit of banter. Although I don't know him well I've seen enough to know that he'll be our loss and a gain to Oz.
I was always trying to get my wife to come out with me and show her that it isn't always a bore to watch midweek racing but she could never get out of work early enough.
Anyway, I'd just like to say good luck to Gary & family. All the best. (Big thumbs up!) |
