Anyone know if this is on this year - thought I read somewhere that it was this weekend but can't find any mention of it now I come to look for the start time.

yes it is, it's this sunday, starts from markeaton park car park 10:00, organised by ben eedy.
If it's the same as last year its out up the A6, up the viagellia, longcliffe, ashbourne, rocester, and back via the lovely and flat (not) long lane. 60 miles, even I did it in under 4 hours last year. Top cake shoppe in ashbourne
