Might not be as pretentious as the weights argument but will they improve performance if used along side a decent bike based training plan???

I think yoga and pilates help with the natural alignment - not necessarily to help bike fitness, but more to help with the correct position your body should be in and to aide and increase suppleness and flexibility. Just in my opinion, like Wink

Yes and if you get in the right class you get to meet girls in workout gear Very Happy and roll around on the floor with them.
