The East Midlands International CiCLE Classic road race is back once again this year, and organisers are asking for volunteers to help recreate the success of previous years.

The race, which takes place on Sunday 26 April, needs volunteer marshals to support the race. Any marshals will be close to the action and will be able to get close to the finish to see the end of the race.

All equipment will be supplied along with detailed instructions. Every marshall will also be provided with lunch and a commemorative race mug.

The only thing you need to volunteer is basic common sense: your role as a marshal will involve: making sure that spectators stay clear of the road, managing crossing points, making sure cars don't get onto the route and acting as an information point for spectators.
