Never, ever, ride near anyone in a road race with Tri or Triathlon Club on their jersey - that is unless you enjoy being carved up or run off the road |

They have smaller arses than their female cycling-only equivalent, but thats a bit of a 'tallest dwarf' accolade |

The triathlon on TV on Saturday morning was good.
Especially the two riders who travelled god knows how far to compete and were unable to keep count of the laps.
They ended up doing one more lap than all of the other competitors!!!
Incredible. |

They seem to have smaller breasts as well or is that the kit? I find it difficult to tell whether I'm watching male or female competitors especially as the men wear tankinis as well. _________________ 'You are a free woman. I used to go out with a tri club for a bit one wi nter - all carbon wheels assos vests and no mudguards gps and power meters (them not me -my bike always looked 'what can you do with 50 quid)
then in feb they said 'ok chaps and chappesses ' the ride back today is flat out - i set off on my hack bike with bits falling off for the 40 mile back - after 10 miles the 40+ group was down to 6 and 10 miles further only 3 - I would say it was a good on edge of racing through and off winter run pace - the only other lad with me at the end was another cyclist on a 531 bedframe
oh how we gloated - then realised the pace they swim .And I run like John Wayne with rickets. |

I put this in another thread but it bears repeating for the sake of anyone else considering risking their lives by riding near them. Maybe there could be some sort of badge they have to wear?
Deal Tri Club whose web site I stumbled across!!
"On Sunday 9th Aug, 3 members took part in the LVRC criterium event held at Dunsfold Airfield, After hitting a bollard Pete M could not get back in the pack and following an accident Jeff Croos also could not get back in. The left Martin Dunford our only hope for a good finish, when chasing down a break with Malcolm Whitehead the paid were directed by the organisers onto a different part of the track only to be told when they had already made the turn that it was a mistake. Martin did finish but the energy was already burned " _________________ I was being chased by a police dog last week, and made the mistake of trying to escape through a little tunnel, over a see-saw and through a hoop of fire. It finally caught me as I was weaving in and out of some sticks. |

I am writing this with severe back pain and my season in tatters after taking part in the Paignton regatta race.
A triathlete who had been lapped felt it was necessary to jump back in what was left of the bunch. I would like to point out that this guy is strong and races pro in the French series. This did not stop him losing his front wheel on a corner and leaving me to go straight over the top him landing right on my left kidney area.

To be fair, my brother also hit a bollard in that event, coming down at 30MPH face planted and seperated his AC joint.
We were being guided down a cut through to avoid the D,E,F race. _________________ www.kentonrc.co.uk |
