So the last two names to come up on the classiest rider thread were Pete Hodgetts who is apprantently classier than RR or Daniel Morelon widely believed to be the best sprinter ever. So who is it? lets vote.

Didn't Daniel Morelon win the silver in the Montreal Olympics 10 days after his son had died of Leukemia.

Yes but Mr. Hodgetts has proved he has far more class than either you or I by not entering int this debate _________________ "The mind is most often a wonderful thing, but, it can be a fearsome enemy." - blu-tone |

Well well well. The pole closed and it was exactly dead equal split. Would be good to hear Petes reaction being compared to the greatest sprinter ever (although noone's mentioned Lutz Hesslic winner of a senior world bronze when he was still a junior. Would have won three olympics had East Germany gone in 1984 too.)
Anyway congratulations Pete can't wait to see you in action.
