Group of us doing the usual Xmas route up round Bakewell on Monday - leaving the Broadway on Duffield Rd, Derby at 9.30 if anyone wants to tag along.

Few meeting 8.30 at the Aldi in Chaddesden, riding out 9am to the M1 bridge in Breaston, back to Broadway for 9.30,

then route is up A6, Wirksworth Rd, Middleton Top, down Nimblejack, up Via Gellia, right to Bakewell, up past the golf course to Chatsworth, up Beeley, along the tops to Crich, drop down Bull Bridge ?, back.

Is the M1 bridge on the Beeston chaingang route? Don't know my way round out there

Well that was a batterin' Shocked Was for me anyway.
After the elastic broke for the 3rd time I came back along A6 to Ambergate. Embarassed Couldn't face Beeley. Thanks to the two lads (Derby mercury?) with me for the tow.

Its good to hear that the Derby winter programme hasn't changed much in 30 odd years, now then, remind me, what is it that starts in early March? Shocked Wink
