2010 Hillingdon TTs to use transponders

The Hillingdon Circuit 10 mile TT programme starts on 14 April and continues fornightly on 28 Apl, 12 & 26 May, 9 & 23 June, 7 & 21 July, 4 & 18 August.

An innovation is the use of transponders which will be a huge benefit in keeping track of laps covered on this 0.94 mile circuit.

Organised by the Westerley CC, the trials start at 7.15pm and from May will have the benefit of the new clubhouse as HQ. It is likely that the start and finish will be moved to this point so that riders can be cheered on by their supporters from the tea bar area!.

The Westerley CC in conjunction with the London Nordic Ski Club having been successfull in obtaining a £10,000 lottery grant. This was made on behalf of the Hillingdon Cycle Circuit Users Group of which both clubs are members as major users.

The entry fee is £5 per session with a £10 refundable deposit for use of the transponder.
