You're right, TTing is dead. Only 300 riders on the startsheet for Levens on Saturday, another full field of 120 + reserves at Long Bennington, and another 120 + reserves at the Stone 25, the last two are only 60 miles apart so tend to attract the same riders.

Not hard to see what people want, when a round of the National TT Series gets ~60 entries on the same afternoon?

If it's windy or rainy you will get a good handfull DNSing, but how is that any different to the similar numbers that don't turn up at RRs when it's a rough day? When I was RRing a couple of years ago they were the days I looked forward to, as it was much easier to get a result when a quarter of the field or more stays in bed!

Just leave it be, if it does it dies, if it doesn't it doesn't, where's the problem?

Don't quite understand that. Surely if you're into TTs you might want to try and do something to reverse the trend? If it dies then, so be it.

It means I don't give a toss either way.

Just a I don't care whether the sport of tiddlywinks thrives or dies.

But you care enough to post that you don't care?
This thread was only ever about trying to get a rise out of testers. They crop up now and again and this one like the others is pointless.

Yes I care enough to post that I don't care, just as I care enough to post this post responding to your post asking me whether I care enough to post that I don't care.

If it's raining, Long Bennington will be cancelled altogether. Dangerous in the rain, due to spray.
