On the red button now - with a couple of Aussie commentators!
I'm not convinced Millar is as nailed on for the win as is being made out.
Some strong young testers - Sergent, Dowsett, Durbridge - in there... _________________ ... |

Nope - Zack Bell is their main man - Jack Bauer, Dave McCann, Dr Hutch are the other names.
H-Pro will be in Oliphant-heaven as he is last off in the first phase and getting loads of air-time. _________________ ... |

The chirpy Aussie commentators have gone and we're back with HP who kicks off by calling Oliphant - "Elephant"... _________________ ... |

and at the finish.
Millar really looked good. Dowsett was fantastic too.
Worst performance of the day, Porter and Boardman who had no idea what order the riders were in. |

Its Millartime.
If Dowsett was his minute man he would probably have been caught. |

Yes you often see a minute man caught with a 55 second time difference. |

and if he had been a minute in front of David I suspect David could have found the 5 seconds with the carrot of the catch in front of him. |

And I suppose the 'fear' of being caught may not have driven Dowsett to dig that bit deeper??
If Dowsett had stopped for a slash, If Dowsett rode with his eyes closed, if Dowsett had fallen off.....
All equally relevant - what a thoroughly pointless observation. |

I was rooting for Dowsett but I'm very pleased for Millar. At least an Aussie didn't win
TREK/Gordon: Was Tuft not bothered? Would have killed them.
A big 'well done' to Dr Hutch for taking on the Big Boys. Very honourable result. _________________ In the room with padded wallpaper. |
