Yes - its true the Mansfield Road Club are back! anyone from the area who's interested are very welcome to come along to find out more! The Sunday runs start at 9am from Mansfield Woodhouse golf club on Leeming Lane (A60). At the moment they are quite 'steady' with upto 20 riders, so any newcomers or unfit folk will be more than okay - back home for 12.30 around 35-40 miles - lets roll!

Good to hear that you are starting Mansfield RC up again. I hope that things go well.

I know that racing is not top on the adgenda but don't forget that Forest Town Track is just round the corner.
Racing league is on Monday evenings with coaching evenings on Thursdays. The season starts on April 18th. The two previous Monday evenings (4th and 11th April) we will have open track evenings for anyone to come along and meet us, have a ride on the track either on your own road bikes or for anyone ho wants to, we will have some track bikes on hand for you to have a go on.

Track info on the website www.foresttowntrack.co.uk

Talking of Forest Town track - there was always a weekly training/riding night throughout the winter months untill the light nights came back - is there one these days? It would beat the turbo-trainers.......

We could probably do it but unless the track is dry it tends to be a bit greasy, especially on the back straight Cool
