Sabbath Bicycles join forces with Tour of Pembrokeshire Spor

British bike brand Sabbath Bicycles will sponsor the popular Tour of Pembrokeshire sportive in its 2011 edition, held on the 12th June. Sabbath Bicycles’ popular titanium bicycle and component range has quickly gained respect in the market, and now the UK brand formed in 2006, are joining forces with one of the country’s leading sportive events. The Tour of Pembrokeshire allows participants to ride 62, 83 or 117 miles of beautiful sea and mountain scenery. Last year’s event attracted over 600 participants, with the event taking on some tough climbs, as well as circling the wonderful West Wales coastline, riders will experience both pain and pleasure in the summer and many will make it a family break.

Greg Roche, MD of Sabbath Bicycles said: “Supporting events and grassroots teams that bring so many people together cycling is something that we’ve done every year since we set up the business. We weren’t going to give up the opportunity to take on the stunning countryside as well as helping with the general experience of the day.”

Sabbath will display their fleet of demo bikes for riders to try out both before and during the Tour of Pembrokeshire, as well as offering event support throughout the weekend to make it as pleasurable as possible for entrants. There’ll also be much needed coffee supplied by Sabbath’s brewing team for those needing to perk up with an early start.

Sabbath Bicycles have a range of titanium steeds suitable for sportives, with the Silk Road, Silk Road Pro, Silk Road Alp and September models all being popular with the UK sportive scene. The Sabbath team will be on hand during the event to give their advice, and a number of staff and customers will be riding the event itself.

Peter Walker of the Pembrokeshire Bike Shop, organisers of the Tour of Pembrokeshire said: “We want to offer the best experience to all of our riders and our partnership with Sabbath Bicycles is certainly going to help us do that. I’m sure our participants will also love the chance to take one of the Sabbaths for a spin too.”
