Some riders lookand ride like a bag of sh1te but go like stink. Others look and ride like pros but are not so good. Considering that the vast majority of riders do it for fun, which is most important?
My view is the latter as I can't stand seeing dirty bikes and muppetty riders. |

I voted for the first option, however I realise that my training bike looks like a bit of a mess (but it's still sort of fast!) - I always make the effort with kit though! _________________ http://www.facebook.com/MikeVaughanCyc

Exactly. Just make sure when you pack/get dropped whatever, sit up suddenly and pretend you didn't really want to be going that fast/trained hard yesterday/cramping etc and you maintain your dignity while still looking cooler than any of the sweaty gurners up the road. |

If you can't be good at least try to look good. Everytime you get on your bike you are an ambassador to cycling.

When I started over 30 years ago I was advised that if I can't be a good rider I should try to look like one. I'm still trying for both!! |
