There was a good turn out for the New Year's Day 10 at Scalford with 15 riders up for it on a windy day. That didn't stop Adam Gascoigne breaking the event record with an impressive 23mins 23secs ride, Norman Portess coming in second place (26.00) and Oliver Jeffcote 3rd with a 28.00. There were 5 riders in fancy dress, all thirsty for those extra points with Santa Claus leading out as No.1 but putting up a poor show of 33.00 (needs a few reindeer to help out next year).
