after last night's shambolick performance i think it needs a definitive split between 2 groups like back in the day a steady group and a 'slightly faster' group NOT a 'kicking eachothers heads in group'. Either we all ride out from Attenborough together and split at Breaston like we used to OR we just depart at he same time from Leisure Lakes like the past few years and the 'slower' group departs same time from Attenborough ??? any thoughts _________________ sign up to our newsletter and enter the competition: www.ioptix.co.uk |

I'm up for that Rodders, but I think we need to ride out together and split somewhere say after Breaston, that way folks can chose on the night which group they want to go with.
With a following group doing the same route it will be possible to drop off the first group knowing another group will be following close behind. That way folks can build their stamia if they want to or stay with their selected group
Not sure what was going off last night, the split at end of Draycott must have been 'manufactured' by folks siting up, normally the gang has no problems at those speeds. The gallop back at the end will probably always happen, but then again you have the choice to join in or not so everyone should be happy.
We shall see .

Why? What happened??
The group stayed (reasonably) together, although there was a increase in speed but with no more than a couple of miles to go and even then it was OK
Was it to do with the 'other group' joining at the fire station on the way back? _________________ I RIDE, THEREFORE I AM!! |

Enjoyed that last night, good pace all the way round even when we got broken up by traffic.
If Rodders hadn't been eating that bag of chips on the back he could have got on the lead out and won the sprint over the bridge .

Would have ploughed into the back of a parked van last night if not for Seans warning, so Sean, thanks again for that. Was in fact looking where I was going but glasses had steamed up.
So girls and boys don't just look where you're going but see where you're looking. _________________ I RIDE, THEREFORE I AM!! |
