Is this event still going? I can't find anything on it.

I formed a club this year www.lbrcc.co.uk we are BC and CTT. This when it was running is on 'our patch' as it were. I last rode it in 1979 when I was with the Kenton (the ride organisers) and I would dearly like to get it or something similar going again, but I don't want to tread on anyones toes.
I know some of the old route now has traffic lights on it, but I have mapped out a route that's true to the original.
If anyone could shine any light on this or offer to help please let me know.
