I would say best tour in 14 years, back to 89.
Add to list of highlights
Mayo on Huez
Beloki's crash
Armstrong not looking dominant
Virenque's stage and yellow jersey
Battle for Green down to the last sprint
Vino's breakaways |

All of the above and Jens Voigt's struggle to stay in the tour, the sportsmanship, it was an epic. |

Not to mention Pettacchi's 4 stage wins and then packing on the first hill!
And didn't Armstrong look great riding the final TT without his Oakleys? |

Maybe these youngsters should spend more time on homework and less training, thereby allowing us older riders to beat them occasionally _________________ www.kentonrc.co.uk |

(1) Banesto / iBanesto.com winning TWO stages with TWO different riders and NOWHERE near the mountains either.... Oh yeah and the White jersey as well
(2) Vino's aggressive riding that earned him 3rd place: who else was attacking Armstrong like that before him?????
(3) THAT crash with Beloki and LA's subsequent off-road skills. I'll bet there will be more people doing 'cross this year, or even MTB'ing to learn those useful skills.
(4) THAT crash on Luz-Ardiden that forced LA to realise his Tour could end there and then if he didn't do something about it.
(5) The emergence of new Aussie talent in Baden Cooke and re-affirming the talent of Brad McGee. Bad news for Mcewen but good for the others, including Cadel Evans and Michael Rogers _________________ The internet is possibly the greatest bitch fest on earth.
