oops total balls up typo of equestrian, but never mind, it'll give rod something else to shout at me across the cafe. One has to do something to keep the fat booger amused.

Start - Mill Street Car Park.
TR out of Car Park, TL then TR on Thorpe Road (A607). TL Spinney Road to Scalford.TR in Scalford at tee junction (Kings Arms Junction). Pass ,Landyke Lane to TL at Tee Junction
TR Pasture Lane,then TR through Hose towards Harby. TR at tee junction onto Harby Hill.TL to Eastwell then TL to Stathern.
Go through Stathern to TR onto Long Lane towards Bottesford. TR at Barkestone Junction onto Terrace Hill (Signpost Branston). TR towards Melton to go through Eastwell.TR at cross-roads towards Harby.
TL to Hose then TL onto Pasture Lane.TL at top of Pasture Lane to TR at tee-junction.TR Landyke Lane to stop at Lakeview Fishing Cafe . .,.

TR out_of C<:fe, then TR and TL towards Ab Kettleby. TR Long Clawso-n, TL in village to Hickling.TR at tee junction in Hickling then TL into Bridegate Lane to Hickling Pastures TL on A606 towards Melton, then TL into Green Lane towards Hickling.TR towards Nether Broughton. There you go Kingy, not too different to the old days I think. Just no Margerets, rumour has it she has started up again at a different location-not sure where?
As a newcomer to the sport and it's more obscure practices on and off the vale 5 or 6 times seems extreme enough to me, obviously too extreme for some judging by the turn out - or did it clash with something more important?
As for warning off normski, I think his choices of tee shoppe are maybe made by the class of pink rinse in attendance.
sorry dick, I will not hijack your thread again, the transport cafe at colsterworth does top breakfasts, sadly does not open sundays.

Back in the day the Hardriders used to be 150 miles with 5000 feet of climbing on 100" fixed and no cafe stop, and it always rained and was a headwind all the way round.

most of em are! not many on run really the isons shoz and spud + a few others about 10 or 12 I think, must have been team gosportlard weekend off Rolling Eyes

getting back to topic.. Shocked

One cafe in Henley wanted £4.80 for beans on toast last year.
It was the first time in over a decade that I had stopped at a cafe on a club run, and only took £4.00 with me.

How times have changed! Crying or Very sad
