results in from todays jaunt to sileby via the vale, beans on toast 2 eggs and cup of tea £3.50.
Unfortunately elvis had to be home by 12 so no pic, but here is one of the cake of the day.

Does that count as one portion of cake?

Mountsorrell Cafe via Beacon Hill, Woodhouse, Swithland and Rothley. Didn't have them but the beans on toast looked good, pot of tea 95p, b a rgain.

It was dead cheap today wasnt it.

Service was a bit haphazard though.
Had to shove down that last piece of scrambled egg on toast just before Norman decided to go.
Got to stay with him otherwise Im lost. Laughing
