More of a general pondering than something that I'm actually ever going to put into practice, but... if ice baths are supposed to be an aid to recovery, are hot baths conversely a hindrance? Or is this just reductio ad absurdum?
I usually circumnavigate this water issue by having Pablo scrape olive oil off my skin with a spatule. He's a Filipeno boy I picked up off an overweight man with a strong Birkenhead accent at a crit last year, but with immigration breathing down my neck I've had to let him go. |
