The Mrs has just recovered from them, not a cyclist though. Pretty miserable 1st week from diagnosis, pretty much a full recovery by the end of the 2nd week. She was very tired / lethargic throughout.
Hope you make a speedy recovery. |

Commiserations - had it a few years back and it absolutely knocked me sideways. First week or so is the worst - calamine lotion for the itching, try and stay cool. Beyond that it's a feeling of constant tiredness/occasional nerve pain. Took me a good few weeks to feel like I was really over the worst, but I was right in the middle of massive amounts of work (self emplyied = no sick leave...) and just had to plough through, which probably didn't help. I'd say no real reason you can't ride your bike gently to keep your legs moving, but if my experience is anything to go by you'll be so tired and run down you won't want to do much more than ride to the shops... |
