London Dynamo / Prologue open hillclimb, 17th October

Saturday 17th October sees the inaugural London Dynamo / Prologue hillclimb

Held on one of the longest climbs in the south-east of England - Leith Hill - this will see riders pit themselves against each other and against the mile-long climb, averaging about 8%

First place will win a minimum £100 prize, increasing with entries; additional prizes from Prologue Bikes, with separate prizes for ladies, vets and juniors

Entry fees are £7 in advance, or £10 on the line; this is one of very few open hillclimbs to offer entry on the line

As well as the £100 first prize, there is a £50 Prologue Bikes voucher on offer for second overall, and the same for the first lady.

As further enticement for anyone looking for a late-season licence upgrade, remember that because this event is run under BCF rules, there are points available - 10 for the win.
