Imagine what the quality of the field would have been like if this was held in June/July?
PS Anyone know why Daniel Shand DNS considering he was one of the favourites? _________________ At the edge of hell |

in all honesty who would have beaten Fleeman on a short climb like that? given the power numbers he was talking about in the comic he must have been putting out something like 8-9W/kg for over 3 minutes which is mightily impressive |

8.5 ish?
550 devided by 64 = 8.6
Thought I might do 600 to be honest but I had bad legs today (joke) _________________ "Im so glad that this has taken me so long as its the journey that has made me so strong" |

Mighty impressive Dan - I managed about 6.4 W/kg. Even if I lost 9kg to weigh in at your weight I'd have not been close!
Good luck for next season and hope to see you at Dovers. |

Easier for you to lose 4kg and maintain the same power than a clown like me to lose 10kg and up my power by 17% |

You'd do half of that if you took your bling off your neck!

Is hill climbing not painful enough without the bagpiper halfway up the hill. Was that an incentive to ride faster to get out of earshot? _________________ Proud to be from planet Earth. |
