It would be if he were riding
I think the weather might favour Cancellara then |

Looks the same finish as last year
It loses a lot of the essence of the race by not finishing on the Via Roma... _________________ ... |

One of my favourite riders, been having a not half bad early season too. |
+1
but I voted for Fab |
I remember watching Voeckler fight to keep the yellow jersey in the tour a few years ago, he looked just like a kid on a bike with no style but obviously very talented. Then a couple of years ago we watched the GP Plouay over in Brittany which he won on his own by about a minute, now looking a class act in every sense of the word. |
Voeckler will be gutted from losing the last stage at Nice last Sunday, but had the form on that day and the previous stage, so maybe. Can he descend fast enough as that used to be the way to win years ago? _________________ Still riding after all these years. |

Henderson's not riding either. |
cyclingnews.com said he was - taking Thomas' place. Most teams seem to be making a couple of changes from the initial announcement on Wednesday. |

Hmmm, I thought I heard that on the tellybox. So, to sum up, I chose a rider who isn't racing, for a reason that doesn't exist. |

I don't think that makes any difference to the race. When it finished on the Corso Cavalotti it did. The attacks had more chance of making it to the finish because there was only 1km of flat after the Poggio descent e.g. when Kelly won in 92. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Matteomjb |

To be fair, picking the winner is more impressive than picking 2nd + 3rd. |

More the atmosphere of the Via Roma, finishing down that canyon of buildings, with people perched on verandahs, hanging out of windows, and spilling over the barriers.
The new finish is pretty sterile in comparison. _________________ ... |

its only a temporary finish isn't it because of some road/building works? |

To be even fairer, picking 2nd and 3rd is the definition of pointless when the question is who is going to win? ... _________________ "Well done, you are 100% absolutely without a shadow of a doubt spot-bollock-on correct." - Tucker
