So Cav's down for the Vuelta and not the round of post-Tour crits as he attempts to keep his form for the Worlds in Australia. Given that Greipel won 4 stages there last year and Cav wins at least 4 stages in Grand Tours how many could he win?
Freddy Maertens picked up 13 in 1977 so anything's possible I guess? _________________ "Veloriders - Sounds like a bunch of soccer holigans still watching reruns of Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" |

+1. I think last year a trend started of peeps pulling out before they got 'too' tyred so they could then recoup for the tour. _________________ Imagination is the war against reality.... |

Yeah they don't want to go to the Worlds deflated. _________________ "Well done, you are 100% absolutely without a shadow of a doubt spot-bollock-on correct." - Tucker

Most riders tread lightly before the Worlds. |
That's why they start the Vuelta - good low-pressure build-up. _________________ Thinking about riding since 1988 |

Exactly. Stop some time second week to avoid a blowout. |

Not sure, he'll have to tread carefully. _________________ "Well done, you are 100% absolutely without a shadow of a doubt spot-bollock-on correct." - Tucker
