Is there a record for a 10 on a 20 inch wheeled shopper?
As i cant beat our local lads and i dont have a tt bike anyway, ive descided to do the club 10's on me pub bike, a rusty old folder raleigh 20.
First one i did a 29 and last night a 28-18, no mods to it, rack lights and all.
Good training for cross season anyway. _________________ Too fast for my own good! |

Not sure about 10 records, but I'm sure legro holds some point to point records on a hired shopper on mallorca. Think its 3hours something from pto pollensa to luc and back. _________________ Is it Right or Left at the banking?...........I can never remember! |

An old club of mine used to have a record for a chopper (but that was in the 80s) so nearly the same thing. |

Hinckley CRC did that only a few years back - mystery number each week got the "opportunity" to ride the evening TT on a Chopper (new and not as good as the originals). Gearing (low) and steering really aren't designed for more than evens. Think two or three managed to beat the half hour. |
