Its Millartime.
If Dowsett was his minute man he would probably have been caught. |
Yes you often see a minute man caught with a 55 second time difference. |
and if he had been a minute in front of David I suspect David could have found the 5 seconds with the carrot of the catch in front of him. |
And I suppose the 'fear' of being caught may not have driven Dowsett to dig that bit deeper??
If Dowsett had stopped for a slash, If Dowsett rode with his eyes closed, if Dowsett had fallen off.....
All equally relevant - what a thoroughly pointless [b]observation. |
Millars helmet was flapping in the wind, observers would say that cost him at least 5 seconds _________________ I'm not a pedestrian,a cyclist or a motorist,I'm just a human being. |

Yep you're right I slipped into tester speak.
It was his camelbak that was flapping - looked like it was in danger of falling out of his skinsuit. |

She was a World Jr Champion for Cross country skiing. As the story is told they worked the daylights out of her at the young age till she packed in. Then a little while later she discovered the bike.
She rode the ind.pursuit at the 2008 Worlds in Manchester and with only one season under her belt. She is a very strong girl and can ride large gears. The road TT probably suits her. _________________ http://gordonsingleton.com/ |

I don't like dissing Mr Porter but to say Dowsett (twice ) is from Kent is a step too far. _________________ soulmates never die |

Yes, Julia did an excellent ride on a course that must have been designed by someone who watched UK time trials - still, hot weather and strong breeze though, and as they say, horses for courses, this one would have suited JS to a tee, so well done and good for her. _________________ Mexican underwater chili eating champion 1957
