A message to the VC Nottingham rider currently out in the Vale of Belvoir, a couple of things to consider before you direct the 'nescafe handshake' and verbal abuse at a car driver.

1. The driver may be a fellow cyclist.

2.The reason the driver isnt overtaking you is that in 50 - 75 metres he is turning left, and therefore to do so would require cutting you up

3. Learn to ride a bike in a straight line as opposed to weaving all over the road like a ????

Your actions do not do cyclists any favours and it was not a particularly good advert for your once great club.

Started off a serious post - the rider ought to be named and shamed - many riders are not doing themselves any favours these days.

Lots of people on bikes out in the Vale today. A pity Dove Cottage was closed. I saw a rider in full VCN kit near Harby around lunchtime today Shocked .

I was out on Saturday morning in a VC Nottingham top...........

Not in Vale of Belvoir though.

Heading north through Bathley, just catching big Al (Also VC Notts) when wooosh, the fast gang of the parrot run zapped me, between 20 to 30 of them all lined out, what a good sight, now that’s what I call a training run.

I received a few shouts one of them well up the line Dave Gretton

Good stuff

Very Happy
