It may be a tall order but the way Wiggins seems to have everything under control can he keep the jersey right to the end of the Vuelta? |

The Nibbler is going to win it. _________________ "Well done, you are 100% absolutely without a shadow of a doubt spot-bollock-on correct." - Tucker

I'd already said will in the title so chose to write can, but of course you are quite right to correct me.

According to Cyclingnews he has a long way to go yet as it seems they have detoured into Italy unexpectedly:

Bradley Wiggins of Sky thinks it is “fantastic” to be leading the Giro. He plans to hold on to that lead all the way to Madrid.

Brad is looking good after today's stage, another good day tomorrow and he can start thinking about winning. |

More to the point mountain goat, if he has a good day tomorrow (does not loose his lead) then its unlikely he will loose the jersey for the rest of the race a la pedal |

Sundays is the hard stage if hes in Red after rest day then yes . |
It's every man for himself on the Angliru, it's so slow and steep that Froome won't be able to do anything for him. Mental climb. I can almost see Froome back in red tomorrow. _________________ Thinking about riding since 1988 |

with the lack of climbing left let's hope that Sky let him free if Wiggin's does have a bad day. With the short time gaps to mollema and cobo they can't willy about esp. with the mental gradients on the Angliru _________________ Well, don't you know about the bird

Yeah it would be a bit daft. Can you see them letting that happen? |

Wiggo looked the strongest - and unbelievably fresh at the finish. Mollema was struggling to hold his wheel, and Cobo gave it everything and couldnt make much headway. i think the lad could well do it. _________________ Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

interesting quote from cyclingnews..>>>>
"However, Sastre’s legs aren’t what they once were and the aging climber was reeled in as the gradient began to bite. It paved the way for Cobo, who eased through the remnants of the leading group as if they were standing still. It was also Riis-esque, with Wiggins only able to mount a valiant challenge for few hundred meters."
