Provisional at the moment (just sorting out the HQ and then got to send off the paperwork).

Sunday 18th March - HQ Woodlands Community School, 3/4 Cat race (about 40 miles, 10am start), circuit round Hulland Ward if police don't object to the circuit - if they do then it'll be somewhere else.

Will it be the circuit that drops down to Duffield and goes up windley?

No the plan is to start near the Kedleston Hotel and race from there to the circuit, so up past the Cock Inn and take the left before Cross o' th' Hands and drop down onto the circuit which then goes up towards the Black Horse in Hulland. It turns left before the Black Horse, down past the concrete works to the end, left but round the little island in the junction to make it more of a dead stop turn (this one will be well marshalled), to the cross roads and left and back up to the junction at the Black Horse.

Don't know if it's been used before - see what people think of it. The plus side is there are white lines all the way and the roads are reasonably wide for the amount of traffic on them.

Downsides are length of circuit and the fact that one junction isn't ideal but having looked at it we think it is safe if we go round the grass island - in other words as if we were going to turn right but actually turn left.
