It wasn't so much booing him. Was stood with Ali Smith and his Leics RC teammates, started a lazy "oooooooh - ohhhh" every time he was second man in the line and swung up. The moment he actually hit the front, the whole stadium erupted (think it was with 2 to go). He got bronze, and thanked us after the race

172.5 on manchester is fine, upright events. U23 bikes all have 170's on.
