Yes, it's on the Sutton Bonington circuit on 20th May

Promoted by the East Mids Events Workgroup, which is a subgroup of the Regional Board.

They are also putting on a couple of other races during the year.

There will also be a 3/4 support race (over 40 miles) before the main event.
The events should be on the BC calendar soon.

This season, the Regional Champs Event is being organised by the BC East Midlands Events Group. Taking place on the Sutton Bonington circuit on Sunday May 20th, a support race for 3/4 category riders will be held prior to the main Regional Championship race (E/1/2/3). These races can only happen if we get the help of volunteers from around the region.

Please contact me if you would like to help support your Regional Championships. It will be possible to race in the support event and marshal the Regional Champs race and vice versa should you so desire. Volunteers will of course receive free refreshments. Please do still get in touch if you feel you cannot commit to help at the whole event, some help is better than none!

Any profits from the races will be used to promote further road races later in the season in the form of the East Midlands Road Race Series (details TBA).

Many thanks in advance,
John.

Thanks, Martin. As Steve says it is in the post above but at least it gives me another chance to request for more volunteers to come forward to help put the 'Divs' on.

At the moment we need more junction marshals, someone with BC membership (and preferably some experience of doing it before) to drive the neutral service car and judges.

Please contact me if you would like to help. I know that some people are planning on riding the support race and then helping to marshal the Championship race.

Don't bother with the race.

Just give the trophy to Dave Clarke and save a lot of effort. Smile
