Should it be re-launched? _________________ 'What's up with her? I been hearing that she's been giving that stuff out to all them grafitti guys!' ' Yo, shut the  up, Chico, man!' 'I'd paint 3 of those murals for some of that ass....' |

no.
- the best thing about it was the photography, I always thought, which was Graham Watson mainly (now at CycleSport etc). The worst thing was all those cheesy US ads. |

No, definitely not. Winning started off okay, but then it covered nothing but US racing. Maynard Hershon, remember him? He had a column at the back called 'Down the bike shop' or something. |

still have the 10th anniversary issue from '93 I think and it wasn't that bad. Maynard Hershon came to England once and I met him when he was in Coventry. Nice bloke, used a bit of our conversation in his article which I was well chuffed at
Procycling and CycleSport are better but at least it wasn't as bad as VeloNews, a real typical Yank mag ( and not that kind either!) _________________ The internet is possibly the greatest bitch fest on earth. Any post about 'Winning' would be nothing without a comment from Mssr Hodge... Winning should have made him their salesman...!

Remember Pro News - great mag; caustic writing and fantastic photos.
International Cycle Sport - ok pictures, but the grammar and spelling was appalling.

It was good, but only in the context of a dreadful Cycling Weekly (almost all black and white), and the lack of news that CW didn't cover (now catered for by the world wide web). |
